Beyond the Basics
All-Levels Class
Lloyd Shaw Dance Center, 5506 Coal SE

These ongoing classes are for dancers seeking new
levels in their dance. The focus is on adding new
patterns, perfecting the lead/follow, and polishing
technique. Topics vary.
Ongoing on Thursdays, 7-8 pm.
$45 for 6-class dance card or $10 per class.
Free admission to the Thursday milonga following
the class for all class participants.

We teach a progressive Nuevo Tango curriculum based on our
Celestial Tango teaching system. (See the link for details.)
Thanks to assistance from Chip Hindi, the owner of
Enchantment Ballroom, and dance instructor Brenda Dunagan,
this new series of Argentine Tango classes has been added to
the Albuquerque Tango scene. We hope you can join us!

Beginners' Argentine Tango-
Milonguero (Apilado) Style
This 4-class series in open-style Argentine tango focuses on
fundamentals, but slants towards Close Embrace Milonguero
(Apilado) Style using variations of basic patterns. Open to
first-time beginners and beginners with some experience.

Planeo, Sacada, Ocho Cortado
with a Focus on Musicality
for Level II dancers
This four-class series explores Planeos, Sacadas, and Ocho Cortadas
with attention to musical forms: milonga, tango, and tango vals.
Basic tachniques will be developed in the musical context.
